Oxfordshire Plan 2050 – Statement of Community Involvement

The Statement of Community Involvement consultation on the Oxfordshire 2050 Plan came to an end last Friday. After a thorough and detailed review of all the comments received, the Growth Board has, 1 full working day later, published a revised version.
This revised version is now available as part of the papers for the next Oxford City Scrutiny committee meeting:
CPRE is thanked for being included as a stakeholder up to this stage but unfortunately our comments have not been taken on board.
It has also been annouced that Councillors will be finalising the first stage of the Oxfordshire 2050 Plan in order that the public can have their say: https://oxfordshireplan.org/news/oxfordshire-plan-consultation-document/
The Scrutiny committee papers also include a first sight of the proposed consultation document on the Oxfordshire Plan itself – see Appendix 2.
The document will be agreed by all 6 of our local authorities (not full Councils) followed by a 6-week public consultation in Feb/March. This first consultation is one of the two main public consultation periods included on the Oxfordshire Plan, so will be highly significant.
