Oxford City Council Consultations – Oxford Local Plan 2036 Main Modifications

Consultation open from 14 Feb 2020 at 10:00 to 27 Mar 2020 at 23:59.
Hearing Sessions of the Examination of the draft Plan were concluded in December 2019, following which the government appointed Inspectors have set out interim conclusions on key issues arising from the Hearings. Based on these, the Council has recommended a number of key changes, i.e. Main Modifications, to the submitted Plan in order to make it legally sound.
This Main Modifications Consultation offers the public the final chance to express their views on whether the proposed modifications to the Plan meet the tests of soundness set out in paragraph 35 of the NPPF. Any comments received will be sent to the Planning Inspectors who will consider them as they decide whether or not the Plan as modified is sound.
The Schedule of Proposed Main Modifications (Feb 2020) is available to view on the City Council’s website at www.oxford.gov.uk/mainmods. It is also available in hard copy at the City Council’s main office in St Aldate’s Chambers.
