Cherwell District Local Plan Examination- Hearing Sessions Confirmed

Hearing Sessions will reconvene at 09.30am on Tuesday 5th February 2019 within the Council Chamber of Cherwell District Council Offices, Bodicote House, White Post Road, Bodicote, Banbury, OX15 4AA.

See attachments below for Guidance Notes together with a schedule of Matters & Issues for the Examination prepared by the Planning Inspector, Mr Paul Griffiths BSc (Hons) BArch IHBC.

The Guidance Notes will hopefully assist in explaining many of the administrative and procedural elements of the process. 

If you have previously submitted comments on the Plan you have three main options:

 If you are content to rely on your original representations, no further action is required. Any comments submitted to the Council’s consultation on the Submission Plan will be considered by the Inspector in determining whether the Plan is sound and legally compliant

Should you wish to submit further written comments on the Matters identified by the Inspector you may do so by the 23^rd January 2019. Guidance on the format and submission of written statements can be found in the enclosed Guidance Note

If you wish to participate in the hearing discussions themselves you need to advise Ian Kemp, Programme Officer, of your intention to do so by the 23^rd January 2019, specificing which matter(s) you wish to be involved in. 

Also attached below is the Council’s response (PC3 attached) to recent procedural queries raised by Mr Alan Lodwick. Mr Lodwick’s queries are embedded in the text. The Inspector has not issued a response to either Mr Lodwick’s queries or the Council’s response.

CPRE Oxfordshire has made written submissions on Matter 2 – Unmet Need and Matter 3 – Spatial Strategy, both attached below.
